Colorado Fall colors ride

Here are the some of the pictures of my latest ride. Its a 360 mile loop starting in Parker, CO. West on I70, Shrine Pass Road, Hwy 24 south to CO 291 to Salida. East on Hwy 50 to Canon City over Skyline Drive, Excellent 3 mile detour. CO 115 north. Then the super slab I25 north back home. Got to love living in CO.

Very nice. I'll be really glad when all of that haze, that we've had lately, is gone.

The haze was a bummer. I could barely see the mountains when I left in the morning. Hoping for snow up north and west to put all those fires.

Adding routes to the GPS

Is that road CR 8 between Meeker on Hwy 13 and Yampa on Hwy 131?

The pic is on the road from South Fork Campground, but we were on our way to riding the Flattops Scenic Byway, over Ripple Creek Pass, from Meeker/Buford to Yampa. Deep gravel, very dusty, but spectacular none-the-less. My friend on the Harley was masterful. We let him go first because he didn't have a full-face helmet! Quite possibly the worst dust I've ever ridden in.

The smoke up here is ridiculous! Still dry so they just keep on burning!

What kind of helmet is Cathy holding. It looks pretty funky.
