Fall colors in Colorado

Took a great ride up in the Colorado mountains on Friday. Beautiful fall colors. North end of the Peak to Peak highway and Brainard Lake area.

Beautiful, just beautiful!

We've been coming out to Colorado for the last 30+ years. Streetbikes & dualsports during the warm weather & snowmobiling during the winter.

This photo was from last September, had the first snowfall for the season and I thought it was awesome with the aspens & cottonwoods.

Me & momma have thought so many times about moving out there, guess we should have 30 years ago when things were a tad cheaper!

Wonderful state.......our favorite and we've been to all of them.

Amazing place to live and to ride. No matter what the stress is like during the week at work, I know I am just a little ways away from the mountains and some great riding during the season.

Sat. I rode to bishops castel on the greenhorn highway. Came from the north via hwy 50 through westcliffe. Awesome ride along the sangre the cristo mountains. Fall colors are starting to show down south. I say it will peak in a week or two.

They are coming along nicely!

Squaw Pass:

Pretty smoky, but this is near Copper Mountain:

Shrine Pass:

My girlfriend and I are heading out in the morning for our fall ride, will hit Independence Pass, Kebler Pass, Million Dollar Highway and Grand Mesa looking for some color. We will be in Arches National Park for a night under the stars and planning on riding 141/Gateway as well. Here's to hoping there's still some color left, we make the campsite reservation in Arches 6 months out!

More from Rocky Mountain National Park last Friday. It was really smokey but it was a great ride. We have a lot of smoke coming in from the fires in the Pacific Northwest.
