San Mateo County Santa Cruz Mountains Ride

At the moment the ride is in progress, well except I'm @ my first stop. 3-zero cafe at the Half Moon Bay airport.

I'm only any 40 minutes in, but I know they've got decent food, and now I'll be set for the entire ride.

I'll link the map of my ride when I get back & try to upload photos along the way.

EDIT: Here's the route

The air is cool, the fog has been settled all morning, and the smell of eucalyptus in the air is wonderfully crisp and refreshing.

Sorry the pictures aren't great...of course they don't do any justice to the actual views.

If you haven't checked out the California Motorcycle Roads page at Pashnit.com, I highly recommend it. It costs $20/year, but if you live in CA and want to find some good roads to explore, or if you're planning a trip here, it's well worth it. I've done two great rides so far based on some of the roads, even just one ride would have made the cost worthwhile...

Love the 3-0 Cafe and Tunitas Road, have been at both of them within the last month. Tunitas is a perfect road for the V. I haven't joined Pashnit since they went fee-based...those were the days when it was free, but you're right, $20/yr is not that much for such a wealth of information. I found out about Cottonwood Road on Pashnit and it was one of the best, if not the best road I've ever ridden.
