Windy Ridge (Mt St Helens)

Short video from last weekend where myself and a few friends took a run up Windy Ridge which is on the east side of Mt St Helens. Fantastic roads and breathtaking scenery makes this one of my favorite rides.

Looks nice! Roughly how long is the ride time-wise?

Hmmm, that all depends. For me (from Seattle) it is a long day as I take back roads there and head down FS25 towards Swift Reservoir, before retracing my steps and then head up Windy Ridge. FS25 is just as much fun as Windy Ridge so well worth doing, though the frost heaves are more severe. This is the route I normally do.

Getting to Randle (point A on that route) from Seattle is a 2 hour journey, so for me it is about 8 hours riding.

BTDT. that day is on my highlight reel, great day in the saddle.

In a world full of people, only some want to ride. Isn't that crazy?

Beautiful ride.... I really like that country... Randle itself is a pretty great place to get lost..
