Great region. ME17 got new tar last year and new pull off area overlooking Lake Mooselookmeguntic. I always ride through Grafton Notch when I'm in western Maine.

Love the lupines...my wife's favorite.

That is one our favorite rides. the Lupines are in full bloom! this pic was taken on rt 16 in Rangeley heading over to Carrabassette Valley.
