Little ride this morning.

Took a little short ride this morning scouting out a location to shoot some pics of a friends show car (72 Nova SS). Thought I would take a look at this retired Army base. Some very nice stone architecture. Most of the interesting buildings are off limits and you can't really get close to them with a vehicle or they have had modern elements added that takes away from the look. These were taken with a cheap little camera, I will come back on a better day with a nice camera and a little help, and of course my friend and his Nova, to shoot some better ones.
Introducing, my new (to me) 09 Versys.

Yeah, I kinda like it as well. It was a last second photo. I helmeted up to move to another area just down the street and I sat the camera down on a step, set the timer, ran across the street and shot it. Through the magic of photography, I look pretty cool and collected but Im actually panting pretty hard under that helmet. The truth is its not a good idea to run down stairs with a full face helmet on, I tripped and almost did a header into the street. At least I was ATGATT.

Rays safety tip of the day boys and girls: Don't run down steps with a full face helmet on.

The STIG, LOL Phil. So you are a fan, should have quessed. I haven't really watched the American show, but the real "Top Gear" is golden. I must have the dvd collection someday.

Hi Ray H. Nice castle pic, no need for a better camera. We don't judge pics, just lack of pics. iphone is all I need..... I had no idea about the retired condos? I am assuming. That is nice, we can't say enough about our military men, and hope they like it there.

Great pics.

I have a similar high-viz helmet (Scorpion EXO-700) and also have a high-viz Tour Master Sonora Air jacket. I was told this week I look like a giant highlighter but this was from a friend that rides a Harley Ultra Classic and wears shorts, a tank top and flip-flops on rides.

Don't forget to post a few pics of the Nova if you can!
