Our "new" 2009 V showed up!

Well thanks to this forum for helping me get this bike for my wife. We got it today from cottonwood, AZ dropped off at the door. I am hopiing speedys lowering kit shows up today my wifes toes juuuust touch I am hoping it helps out. I took the bike for a spin and now I want one :-) At any rate so far we are happy gonna change the oil and go have some fun. I gotta figure out those givi bags like how to remove them lol I guess you can only open and close them with a key in the lock?
Again thanks all who helped in the process

Looks cool, those bins should come off buy turning key and pushing button and you will be left with just the rack system as those bins are like a small suitcase.

Great looking bike. I have those side bags and they are a snap. turn key push smaller of the two red buttons and off they come. Leave key in bag to open the bag itself.

I simply snap um off and take them inside. It's that easy. No more packing things from the bike. YEA!!

I'm sure she will love the bike. It's wonderful.

Thanks got the bags figured out! She does love it but I have to lower it a bit. Doing so today I am sure she will bet used to the height.

Put on speedys lowering kit for the wife today and the flat foot(wish I did that sooner). Course the first day we had the bike she thought the stand was down and it wasn't! So new clutch lever on order. Got that color brite paint to fix minor scratch on left engine cover(not a perfect match). Glad I took the givi bags off before hand! Got the wife signed up for an MSF course next week. She has rode before just been outta the game for 4 years and prior bike was an older honda 250 dual sport so this is a different animal. Noooooow of course I took her out for a spin and hoooooooooly krap!! this is a fun bile to ride!!! I love the fit I know if I had it I would lower the foot pegs but the previous owner had the matching givi bags a sweet givi shield nice corbin seat and a cruise control thingy that is pretty cool! So my only bike the last 8 years or so has been my vulcan mean streak... I love that bike but boy was riding the V allot of fun today up right in the saddle yet feels like you are one with the bike they way it wraps around you....... I have to admit I want one too.... maybe next year or the year after but till then I will have to sneak some rides on the wifes bike. I mean I can talk her in too letting me ride it to work right??? Maaaaaybe! Funny I rode to deale today to sign her up for MSF and when I walk out what was parked next to the blue V? Another blue V...but his was beat up all scrapped up and all..... actually felt sorry for it!
