Versys is quicker than Ninja 1000

Got a friend if mine who is getting into bikes and is on his learners licence so he brought a 250cc hornet and that little 4 cylinder is pretty nippy. My regular riding buddy Jason with his Z750 thought we would take our new apprentence out for a shake down ride around a twisty, hill gorge road.

Have ridden my ninja 1000 over that gorge road with my friend on the Z750 and he is always quicker but when i rode my good old faithfull stead the very fast orange V he could not catch me. Just food for thought.

You are right but some of these roads have very acute bends and the versys is a very nimble bike, the ninja has the better brakes and ABS does make a difference when you pushing it but since the ninja is over twice the HP you have to watch putting to much power on coming out of bends, traction control would be great and a slipper clutch.
