Portland to Ushuaia to ???

Well boys and girls I am planning another adventure. Last time it was "Portland to Panama to ???". To the end of the road in Panama and back. If you did not get a chance to follow along you can still go to the thread, Portland to Panama to ???

This post is to see if there is anyone interested in two months on the road. I am planning on flying/shipping myself and my bike to Columbia around the end of the year, then zigzagging my way across South America from there. Destination is once again the end of the road, Ushuaia. But I am always open to suggestions as long as I get to the end of the road.

I have entertained the thought of riding the Pan-Am highway to Panama and shipping from there but still not sure which would be best.

My bike is pretty much ready to go but I am going to change up my panniers. On my last trip my homemade rack and panniers were my only challenge.

If you are interested at all you can check out my easy going, steady progress, enjoy the surroundings, no espaniol type of travel on the previous thread.

bump and done

Just wanted to bump this thread.

Any interest in going along or am I on my own again. I have never had any problems with being on my own, after all I do kind of like me.

I wish I had the financial resources to tackle such an adventure (I have one of those unreasonable employers who will only pay me if I actually do work). I do look forward to hearing about your trip, however.

If you have not already, check this thread out. I think he started in somewhere near Seattle but started the thread in Guatemala. http://www.kawasakiversys.com/forums...outh+road+ends

Good luck

South

I have followed Gary and all of his travels. He knows how to have fun. Alittle luck could hook us up down south.
