We were two courageous warriors to go for a ride across Monts du Lyonnais, under a nice weather (18°C, almost 30°C more than we had experienced two weeks ago...). It would be like a waste if not.
The ride was the following ---> http://g.co/maps/86raj
One thing : most of the pictures were taken with my Drift HD170 and are directly extracted from the videos done. So I do apologize for the quality.
We started from Saint-Genis II Auchan shopping centre
And things were getting interesting some kilometers after
We did not take the usual road for Saint-Martin-en-Haut because of cops... thanks to my friend who knows well where they could be (he has to work with them sometimes).
It was a pity of not seeing Lyons from there because of smog
We made a stop at Saint-Martin
After Duerne, I really like this place, so peaceful for me
Then, we moved to Saint-Laurent-de-Chamousset Hill. We were talked about this one by a friend.
So, where do we go?
No straight lines... how great it is!
In some parts, roads were a bit wet...
Came the best moment of the ride... Pin Bouchain Pass Hillclimb
After you my good friend
Then we moved to Amplepluis and Lac des Sapins (Fir Tree Lake)
Here we are
Last but not least, we reached Echarmeaux Pass
I wanted to record the downhill from the pass up to Lyons... the only one trouble was the memory card was full... it was a pity because D385 is quite nice with long corners and with nice places too. This part is called "Les Pierres Dorées" (Golden Rocks).
