Especially when it's 5℃, raining and quite miserable outside.
My battery is getting weaker so I need to keep it charged, and I'm not the one to let the bike run inside a garage.
As usual, I bring you village roads and vistas from Montenegro (Crna Gora). I rarely meet people in these places so pictures feel a bit de-persenolized.
I met an elderly fella today, though. He was doing the same climb up the hill, and believe me it's steep, on foot. He was one from the past days who still carries a comb in his wallet and an umbrella everywhere he goes. He needed that umbrella today while rain was turning to hail and snow. He also didn't seem bothered about the walk. Probably been doing it his whole life. I felt a bit guilty and fortunate at the same time about my five high-tech layers of garments compared to his modest shirt, jacket and coat.
We exchanged a few words but I din't get to take a picture.
You can see the old fella just above the mirror.
This is the view downwards from the place the above foto was taken.
Way down to the river from above shot.
A water crossing for the end. This silly picture took so much effort but I just had to do it.
