rain sun and fun(a Ride report)

Took a trip to a meet in WV last weekend,Marlinton to be exact.had a great time and thought I'd share some of the photos with everyone here. This was the STN eastern meet aka ESTN.some was wet ,some was dry ,but boy was it fun.
Heres my steed packed for the trip

Riding WV310

The covered bridge in Phillippi on 250

the meet motel(marlinton motor inn),notice the liquid sunshine in the backround

On 39/55 the next day just west of the cranberry glades

Stopped to hike to these waterfalls, hellva walk but well worth it

On Us219 headed to Droop Mountain battlefield, and in the battlefiels itself

Cass Wv

On the way home, canafax ferry battlefield and Gauley river and dam

Only rode 850 miles due to very heavy rain, but would do it again in a second

Great pictures and it really is getting "that" time of the year isn't it. Thanks for sharing your trip and glad you made it safely.

Thanks for posting! Looks like a great trip. I kayaked the Gauley River about 10 years ago. Beautiful part of the world.

I was there in July. Oh, that brings back the memories. I loved Cass and the road through Monongahela Wilderness. The Carnafax Battlefied was my first stop followed by the dam in Summerville. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Those wet leaves look scary.
