Planets aligned for having a day off and catching some really nice weather. Added a couple more comfort\convenience mods to work done so far: throttle rocker, sheepskin, saddlebags and GPS cradle, really looking forward to getting out and doing some exploring.
The day started with taking a side road I've often wondered about, turns out to offer some nice scenery, new-to-me twisties and bypassed some road construction to boot.
Taking a gravel turnout near Glenwood WA for a loop with a nice view of Mt. Adams.
Out of the dirt and into some nice paved curves along the Klickitat, variety is the spice and all that.
Best to focus on the road and not get distracted by the scenery on this part.
Another dirt excursion, not really prepared for anything too gnarly. A few miles just to have a look-see and then back to pavement.
Another really nice stretch of curves, would be even nicer if the locals weren't so prone to straightening things out by crossing the double yellow.
A great day and lovin' on the variety of riding the Versy brings to the program. my riding position feels ever so slightly cramped so I'm gonna add the Speedy lowering blocks and see how those feel next. Ought to be ready for a nice vacation tour by the time summer gets here
