Blue ridge parkway

Beautiful day riding around Lexington,VA early this morning.Up to Blue Ridge Parkway entrance in Buena Vista rode around 100 miles. Beautiful scenery, great twisties. 2011 versys that I'm just getting to know. What a great bike for just about everything I have asked of it so far!

I love the BRP. Just did the whole length north-to-south in two days with a couple ST buddies. I especially like the last 100 miles or so through NC, up at the highest elevations. Now I need to go back and do it again on the Versys.

I can't think of a nicer way to spend a couple of days. I'm riding up that way this summer to beat the heat for a couple of weeks. Some of my best riding memories haev been around the BRP.

"around the BRP" is a good point. Some of the roads that go up to the Parkway are fantastic. NC215 for example. T

I really enjoyed the section between Maggie Valley and Asheville. Absolutely beautiful views and nice pavement too!

I bought a motorcycle because my wife said that I couldn't! Now I have two and she still says I can't have another one!

We camped out at Willville near Meadows of Dan, VA this past weekend. Another great spot just off the BRP.
