Looking for more dirt

Hi all - Can anyone recommend a place to ride in VA, WV, DE,MD that is more dirt than asphalt?

Getting a bit bored want to expand my horizons - I thought this a good place to ask since we all know the V's capabilities and dirt limitations...googled various spots - GW National Forest - anyone been there?

BTW - I have some dirt experience - so I am not a novice in this arena.

tnx

The Woodstock area "Woodstock Fire Road" near Burnshire dam and Little Wolf Hole campground will get you started. That whole are is ripe with really good roads both dirt and single lane asphalt. Get a ADC map and have at it. If you go out west from Woodstock on route 42 you can get good and lost on dirt roads:-) Where are you located?

Have you checked around on the Advrider.com website? They are more dirt orientated and have a lot more members. Though the website is so large that it is a pain in the butt to find anything IMHO. Best thing to do is ask in the different Tag-o-Rama threads for advice over there.

Heres a link or two.

The Wolf Gap Campground leads you across the mountain in West Virginia on single lane asphalt. From Columbia Furnace, VA, take State Rt. 675 north about 6.4 miles to campground on the right. You can go from here all the way to Seneca Rocks on back roads both dirt and asphalt. These roads are on ADC maps and GPS if you have one. There are so many ways to get to Seneca its mind boggling. Its is a really fun day however. Enjoy.
