407 Guy , I`m looking forward to your thoughts on the riser and foam grip covers. I have ordered both but different manufactures , but they haven`t arrived yet. Also ordered brake/clutch lever foam covers.

With the risers the sitting position for me is fantastic. And with the smoothness between 4-5k RPMs I feel I could ride for days... and it would be that much sweeter if the bike had cruise control as a factory option.

The grip covers seem to help a bit, which is adds to the over all comfort. For the price definitely worth it.

Yeah, after today's ride (cleared 200 total) I do think I need to look into that and give it a try.

Last night I removed the Kawi stickers and then added the spools after my ride today.

Ah man I would have left the stickers on.

Now somebody may mistake it for a Harbor Freight bike...Lol.

If you really want to screw with someone, install some Tesla decals.

Cheers.

On the red '08 Vs, some inmates substituted "DUCATI" or "FERRARI" decals....

Some people ask if it's "one of those BMW adventure bikes".

Doh!

Distinguished members...

Today I sold my 2017 Versys 650LT. With an 8 year old in the house I'm just not riding as much as I'd like and having 2 bikes in the garage wasn't making sense. Sold the bike through a local Kawi dealership on consignment. Took almost 3 months. Indeed, the Versys 650 is a niche market.

It's a bit bitter sweet for me but I know it was the right decision at this time. Solid members here on this forum with unbelievable knowledge.

All the best!

With an 8 year old, sell the Versys and buy 2 dirt bikes. You wont regret it.
