My 2015 Versys 650 & B-King

Hello everyone, Greg from Orlando, new member and owner of a new 2015 Versys 650.

Nothing too exciting here, just my super stock Versys in white. Put about 165 miles on it, so still doing that breaking in process!
I uploaded pics of the Versys next to my 2008 Suzuki B-king I bought back in 2009. Have been riding her ever since and was glad to pick up the Versys to do some longer rides out of state in the future! 2 completely different riding bikes and feel, but both are awesome. It nice to have a different but enjoyable riding experience on 2 different bikes....it won't be long till I start talking about a 3rd bike!!

Greg

A BUNCH of us here had our Vs 'broken-in' on the ride home from the dealer (50 miles or so).

I've done THREE that way, and NO problems w/ any of them (one has 66K miles...)!

Yours is the second reference I have seen to a B-king. I now know it is a Susuki, but what does the B-king stand for? Thanks for filling in my motorcycle knowledge base.

Forty years away from 2 wheel fun. Sure is great to be back smelling the roses!!!

When the concept bike first came out, it was built as a supercharged naked Hayabusa powered bike. So it was meant as Boosted King...Well the production bike didn't come supercharged ( too bad ) and they just kept the name B-King. That's about all I heard from articles I read.
