On a chilly Sunday morning we set out from Muskegon a 8:15am for a trip on Northern Michigan's famous M-22 starting in Manistee. We got a little rain north of Ludington, but once we hit Manistee it was clearing skies on M-22.
It was a great ride and a special thanks to John Fischer for his intimate knowledge of some backroads on the Leelanau Peniscula. I used my clutch more on that trip than I have since the day I got my V!
Concours and V. My friend Rodney had to ride the whole ride with a missing right foot peg (used the right passenger peg). The dealer messed up his order and got a .... you guessed it, a right passenger peg.
Great pictures Kilofox. And you are right, the M-22 is a great road. I was up there this summer and stopped to visit an old freind who lives in Frankfort. Seems like all the riders I talked to in Michigan said be sure to try to get to M-22.
