Cool Early Thanksgiving

Damn bird flies at me from the left while I'm cruising at comfortable 100+ km/h. Saw him at the last moment. He got my left handlebar ... and left hook ... Thank god for armored gloves ... full KO hit ... I stayed up ... Turkey 0 Peter 1 ... I also need refrigerated top case if this is any indication of season coming.

Holy $hit!! Turkeys are big birds! Glad to hear you stayed upright!

Guessing you weren't wearing a GoPro?

I wasnt. I know the area and its a lot of forested roads so nothing new to me. Plus i was figuring out where to put the camera on the helmet and working on bracket. If i had the camera on left handlebar as i usually do it would have been a toast most likely.

I mounted my GoPro top-center of my helmet. Yes, it looks a little dorky, but I'm already not a fashion plate wearing my full gear (think the Michelin Man in black :P) And it captures what you're seeing, rather than just where the bike is going.

My HJC modular has top vents and sunshade slider so that's not an option for me. Hence the reason i was fiddling with the custom bracket for side mount. Plus I do not have GoPro.
