Create Maps

Anyone know of a nice program (iPhone / ipad) that will allow you to create your own custom route / map and then send to google maps or Apple maps to follow GPS? Thx.

I am looking for this also. Hopefully something that is easy and intuitive to use.

How would I transfer these "google maps waypoints" onto my Garmin Zumo 550?

It's a pain in the ass. At least I haven't found a good way. That's why I like myrouteapp and Tyre. Easy to create routes, easy to import to the Zumo.
There is a bit of a work-around. I find that the "export" function in both doesn't work so well. I first save the route to my computer, then attach my Zumo, then drag it into the appropriate folder. It's been working really well.
I think there are free versions of both. I have the free version of Tyre, but paid for myrouteapp, which is web-based. Routes are stored in the cloud so you can access them from Android and Apple in addition to putting them in your Zumo.
