I don't see any time stamps on those, can we really trust that those are your photos from yesterday?

what was the temperature like out there yesterday? it looks nice but photos can be deceiving.

That first picture is the gas station - right across the street from the Riverview Motel, in Jasper.

No matter where you go - there you are.

1/ l'll take the daily newspaper with me so you can see the date on it next time mate!!
2/ It was mid 60's f on the temp; displays outside banks etc, but when you're travelling into a stiff wind it felt like it was mid 50's f!!!!

Hey, you're a man who's been around!!!!Yes it is, & they do the only reasonably priced food in Jasper! (which to those who aren't familiar with the place is a tiny little touristy town on one of the best scenic tours ever...........or is that EVER???)

More "over the weekend" photos

On Friday l headed north to do a little ride along the old Route 66 that runs parallel to the 44 running east of Springfield MO towards SL.

I also took a route through the forest area down the 125 which goes near to the Chadwick Offroading area (l must get a little offroader one day to "do" that place, it's very popular)

And l took a diversion around Bull Shoals near to Forsyth just as the sun was going down & the chill was setting in!

PS, apologies for no date stamps...........................

Since no one else is complaining about date stamps yet
I will let it go

What is your mounting for the Givi 35 cases?

Well l'm so grateful you aren't going to start lambasting me from north of the border unwizard!!!

No idea what the mounting system is, it was on the bike when l got it, it works fantastically, so l don't question it, but knowing the previous owner, it was prolly all fitted at the Kawa dealership from new.

We get to Jasper quite often.

Yes, that gas station has some decent food. We used to hit the Ozark Cafe, but the food quality and the service has been lacking in the last year or so. Too bad, because we used to really enjoy that restaurant.

There's a little restaurant in Mount Judea, but we've yet to eat there.

No matter where you go - there you are.

Yes, Mount Judea was on my route yesterday, & l've seen the cafe, but never stopped because it can be full of HOGS (both kinds!)

PM me next time you're down this way! (does your missus ride with you on the V or does she have her own 'bike like my missus!)

My wife rides as a passenger only. Her idea of a motorcycle trip is on the back of a Gold Wing. Her idea of camping is Motel 6.
If you see me and my Versys, then I'm solo.

We ain't spring chickens, but we do ride. A lot.

:-)

Part of my nature is to be less serious at the start of some of my posts, we hear lots of death and destruction / climate change going on in the world**********my way of breaking the ice, and putting a on your face , and for a moment forget what is happening in the news******it is pretty hard to tell, from a computer screen. So I guess I need to be a little more diligent where I place

I had to ask, if you look at Motorcycle lift thread, I have the same cases, but much closer to the bike, I bought it used, with 1 KM on it, so I guess I could ask the dealer what my mountings are. My reason for asking is for a possible purchase of a 2015 for me, I want everything as tight as possible, and looking at trying to recover as many farkles off my 07.
Looks like I need to go to Twisted Throttle and have a look. They have a versys with the aftermarket cases mounted.

You have something really special, my riding partner is my son, he has a Honda 919, however being young and married, his free time to ride is limited.

My wife suggested for me to get something like the Can Am Spider, that would take all the fun out of riding.

for posting this.

When you "click" on ATTACHED THUMBNAILS you'll see a time/date stamp at the lower right corner, no doubt there for certain "doubting-Thomases"....
