Happy Trails needs a donor for 2 weeks in exchange for free gear

Just contacted Kurt at Happy Trails and he said they they are in the final stages of R&D with the Happy Trails SU rack for the '10 and '11 model Versys. The only thing they need is a donor vehicle to test everything on.

So they told me that whoever would be willing to donate their V for 2 weeks would get a free rack and gear. Their address is ...

Happy Trails Motorcycle Products
11777 Executive Dr
Boise, ID 83713
(800) 444-8770

So that is way too far from me, but I am sure someone over there would LOVE to save $300. Anyways, you doing this would also speed up the release of this rack for all of us out there with later models that want to have a top rack and side racks, cause currently this is the only way to do that.

If I was closer, I'd be all over it. 2 weeks is a long time not to ride though!

Because I'm impatient, I will be going with HB racks from CaribouCases. However, I might be donating my bike to them for a couple days to make a top-rack!

This problem was solved long ago by several Versys owners while HappyTrails was sitting around on their butt doing nothing.

Remove the stock grab handles on your 2010+ Versys
Install SW Motech rack for 2010+ Versys
Install SU rack for 1st generation Versys
Done
