Anyone using these handguards on the V?

My hands got a bit chilly on a "ride-to-eat" this evening with our area TWT (Two Wheel Texans) bunch. So, I ordered a set of these in smoke for the V. New Universal 7 8" Motorcycle Bars Handguards Pattern Hand Guards Protectors | eBay

I already have a black set that I had easily adapted last year to fit the FJR and really like them, especially the $15 price tag. They ship from Hong Kong, but the last pair made it here in 11-12 days.

never seen those used - probably block wind better than the ones I have.

I bought those but didn't like the fit and wouldn't work with bar end weights. I transferred the stripes to my Barkbusters because I like the looks. I have found that hand guards will not keep hands any warmer unless you put them all the way against them which makes it necessary to not have a grip on the handlebar. Works ok for short periods of time but not an end all solution for warm hands. These results were both surprising and disappointing to me. ImageUploadedByMO Free1452859613.779381.jpg

I have ZETA XC guards on my '08. When it's warm out I remove the plastic guard to get more airflow over my gloves, and conversely, when it's cold I put the plastic back on. I do the same w/ the factory handguards on my '15.

For ME - there's a SIGNIFICANT cooling effect from having a 60+ mph airflow over my hands. GOOD in the summer, NOT so good in the winter...!
