Could you post pictures of your aftermarket windscreens for the 2015 model?

Getting the 2015 versys soon and one of the first things I will be swapping out is the windshield. Can you guys post pictures of what yours look like? So far it doesn't seem like there are many options

I bought a smoke version of the Puig screen from a member, but it won't be installed till I get back to BC in April. However, I was happy w/ the stock '15 'shield, but want a taller one for my longer rides....

I have a dark smoke Puig screen and a 22" Madstad. The latter is on my bike now. I can take a pic tomorrow when it's light out. The one I've attached doesn't really show you much.

Here's a shot of the Madstad screen. It provides fantastic wind protection.

Those came with the original Touring+ package from Kawasaki Germany. Apparently the US didn't have those. Mine had the hand-guards, the lights, gear indicator, 12V socket, tank pad and the bags.

What about those mirrors with the split stems, are they oem or aftermarket?

Those are the Kawasaki driving lights in their catalog - I have them and they're nice.

Also, the Madstad shield is great!!!

S-Venture light smoke windshield and Im quite happy with it. You can hear the whistle when riding 70km/h+...but I haven't tried other aftermarket shields so I don't know if all have it or not. the Stock one was fine.

Give the stock screen a fair chance. I think it performs very well, it is just designed for a short rider. The over/under airflow really minimizes turbulence. I'm 6', and fortunately, there is a higher setting they don't mention in the manual. First 2 photos show highest setting. Last photos show an even higher setting.

Here is my new Givi airflow screen. While I admit its a little ugly, its growing on me, and the adjustability is incredible.

Sorry for the sideways photos, can't seem to get them to load in the appropriate orientation.

I actually like the stock screen. For a small screen I think it does a great job of blocking the wind. I'll definitely be using it in the summer but for cool weather I'm glad I've got something larger.

Did it take long to ship? I like the paddock stand.

It was back ordered a little over a week. Once shipped, two days.

The stand is actually the $40 Harbor Freight special. Works like a champ though!

Here is THE BEST screen available for any bike. The Givi AirFlow COMPRESSES air between the scoop and shield to throw wind and sound over your head AT ANY SPEED and ALMOST ANY WIND DIRECTION. None other does that whether they say they do or not.

The product ads are confusing because the Givi product model is good for Gen 3 Vs. 650 and 2012 to 2014 V1K's. For $200, it is the best option you can get. I'm working now on a Gen 2 conversion, if you already have a Givi D410ST screen, to have Airflow screen for fixtures, $25 + scoop, $60 + labor to trim a few inches off of Givi D410ST screen.

Everyone with Gen 3's should take Wulf81's lead. Its incredible and you never knew what motorcycling could be like without wind noise! When I had mine before, it doesn't matter too much if it's up or down; so down would logically seem better given that assumption.

Peace. And just because I'm so lovable, here is a $20 off special from Accessories International - $175.50!

Wulff81,

I think your AirFlow scoop shield looks perfect!

** May I have direct length and width measures of:
1. Vertical height of base screen centered?
(** I've estimated about 12.8" - ??)

2. Horizontal width of base screen at widest point?
(I am thinking about 48 cm - ?)

3. Distance with scoop all the way down, from the bottom of the scoop centered to the bottom of the base screen centered?
(from the upper pic below, it 'looks' flush - ?)

4. And could you please take a closeup picture of your bracket(s) that holds the base screen to the dash board?
(it won't really effect my Gen 2 conversion because I'll just use stock wind screen mounts, but I'd like to see it once while it's hot on my noggin

Thank you Greatly Sir!! Your bike is perfect and I am jealous.
