Headlight grille/guard?

I saw a blue versys in Colorado Springs while on a store run this morning. Totally decked out for the "round the world Paris-Dakar thing". Nice aluminum panniers, nice soft luggage neatly piled, tent, sleeping bag, high windshield, big auxilliary fog lamps etc.... What intrigued me the most was the headlight guard. It was similar to what I've seen on a lot of Adventure tourer bikes i.e KTM, BMW...really added a new dimension to the front end and sort of tied in the whole "unique headlight design" I have scoured the internet to locate this headlight guard to no avail. It did not appear to be homemade. If it was, It was an excellent piece of work. Functional and way cool looking!
Could any of you fine folks help me locate this hunk of farkle?
Thanks!
Rik

I agree!!! I have looked and looked to no avail! My girl calls me the web ferret when it comes to this kind of internet detective stuff.....I rarely come up empty handed. If I did not have to work all night tonight I'd continue looking. I've lost my password to the UK Versys site. I may rejoin them tomorrow and continue the quest. Anyone out there with some leads?

usually a guard is needed when the lens for the headlite is made of glass to stop breakage from stones. Since the stock lens is plastic already, it seems like a waste of effort to me.

ps. IMO...if you get a stone large enough to break the stock lens hit you, the least of your worries will be your head lamp.....

Perhaps so but it sure did look nice and would certainly provide some level of protection from chips and cracks IMO. I really like the way it cleaned up the front of the bike.

Not what you are looking for but some protection for your headlights and with some innovation you might get what you are looking for:-

Rik, would be more concerned to put a radiator guard on unless you already have one. Put a beowolf guard on myself.
