Custom Paint - So long Candy Apple!

Call me crazy but I was not happy with my Candy Apple Green and just painted my bike matte black. I mixed a bit of metallic in on the fender and fairing and kept the tank black. Cost was $600.

Let me know what you think. Anyone else have any custom paint?

That's cold. It wouldn't be my first choice in colors - but at least it's not green!

Looks good! Question though, can you paint the lower silver swingarm and other parts that are silver?

Just gotta say...i had a black car once, loved it but learned to hate it.
One black in a life time is more than enough....but when it was clean and waxed....
it was bad-ass!

That not withstanding......WOW!!!

THAT LOOKS FANTASTIC
Would have never imagined black could add so much to our bike. You have a good 'eye'...no doubt.
And clearly, someone is having too much fun.
Well met sir.

(I'd be tempted to ask you for the paint numbers so as to steal your look....LOL!!!!)

I absolutely love Kawi Green, so it hurts that you painted it. If it had been a blue V before, it would look good.

I'm sure it could be done, but it benefits from the contrast. I'd personally be tempted to add some more, either the rad cowls or front fender. Or mebbe a hugger.

Well done paint job, looks flawless.

I like the streetfighter-ish look that the matte black invokes.
Will you carry it further by switching the red and orange side reflectors to white (like the blinkers), perhaps bob the rear fender?
