Shad side cases?

I'm spoiled with my Concours having hard sidecases. Any opinions and or recommendations for hard sidecases I've been looking at the new Shad cases and mounting system, but don't yet know what is out there.

Thanks

I have Shad 36 cases on my '12. Works very well though they stand off from the bike a bit. I used that space to install 3" abs pipe about 12" inches long to carry a few tools and chain cleaner. Functionally fine but my bike looks like a pregnant guppy

I can't help you with the fit issue, but my bike came to me with a Shad trunk (on top in back, whatever you call that) case and I really like it. Seems durable and well sized.

Forty years away from 2 wheel fun. Sure is great to be back smelling the roses!!!

X2, I have shad side cases on my 09 as well, with harbor freight welding rod holders tucked between the frame and cases held on with hose clamps. (Painted them black, orange stood out too much )

What I got (not shad)

Givi Plxr450 Kawasaki Versys 650 | MotoStorm [en]

Kappa K33n Monokey Side | MotoStorm [en]

If you don't buy the rack you need this to fit it.

I also got the above rack and mounting plate to fit my Kappa 42N topcase

I prefer top loading cases and also keeping my cases as narrow as possible. I have Givi 21's plus a Givi 52 top case.

I'm 'rather' partial to large aluminum panniers, such as the TUSKs.

My Kappa 33L / Givi cases are the same width as the handlebars

The TUSKs are 34.25" wide, while my handlebars and hand-guards are 33.125" wide. The Aprilia mirrors w/ 'wideners' come in at 37.25".

I am also looking for some hard bags, those sh36's look nice I like the three point mount. up until reading this post I have been thinking and looking at Givi E22N's 1. I like the price and 2. I like the tighter profile. any one have experience with the E22N?

The Shads are mounted!

The SH36's arrived on Friday. I already had the mounts and rear turn signals mounted and relocated. They fit my full face large helmet just fine. You can open them without the key and the carry handle is a very nice feature as well. I also got the liner bags. All for about $200 less than the GIVI system. These are every bit as stout as the GIVI's.
I rode in a torrential downpour and no leaks.

Those look great. Nice low profile mounting rack too. The Shad cases look like they leave plenty of room behind the rear foot pegs for a passenger to be comfortable. I find my 40 L Kappa boxes crowd the rear pegs.

Always trust your cape.

As far as I'm concern, they look much better than my V35

They also look wider (could be a pic illusion), much wider than mine

You say that they resisted to a downpour, not my givi ...

Finally, that rack is the discretion itself, not the ugly military grade rack that Givi makes ...

+1 on those !!!

PS How much for the internal bag ? Pic of them ???
