Possible Custom Tank Decal ... feedback wanted.

I debadged my Blue 09 and am toying with the idea of a custom tank decal along with a KMW Badge.

Here is a design I made. Silver and 6 in in width. Would appreciate comments on color, font and width.

Good looking. Is it illumines or plain. Would be better if illumines and wording run/match with color of bike.

just my 2 cts thoughts.

illumines = reflective? If, so... no its just plain with a clear background. I thought about white, but I like the silver better I think.

Looks great! However...

You might need a lighter color to show up right against the blue, and the 6 looks way too much like a lowercase B.

Be careful if you are getting that with a clear background. Everything I have put on a bike or car with a clear background ends up with crap behind the clear part eventually. Not sure how it gets in there but it makes the whole thing look bad.

I like the idea, not sure about execution or decal type. Any silver or gray will show up on your blue paint. Here's what I did with mine, using stock type decals. The '650' came from a late model ninja, the 'K' from a european decal source online that offers brand marques. But yeah, the 650 and versys don't match that well.

BTW, it doesn't matter if your '6' looks like a 'b', it's part of the displacement designation so it has to be a '6'. I see you're getting away from the 'versys' name, that's fine too. I was on the fence about it myself.

The stock badging is, well, just a little boring.

the 6 ... that really is a b ... maybe that square edge at the lower left could be rounded like the other characters ... and maybe give it a horizontal extension across the top...

K.. looks weird to me... maybe the center of that three pointed star can go further to the left?

In a world full of people, only some want to ride. Isn't that crazy?

If I didnít already know better I would have read that as KLEBSO.

Consider a space or perhaps a hyphen, e.g. KLE-650

Seriously though, all I did to mine was add a simple "VS" to the side of my tank and I spent half the day looking for a font that made it look right.
