Windshield rubber grommet

I was going to adjust my windshield the other day and lost 2 of the rubber grommets used to secure the windshield. I have a 2014 Versys but I assume each year used the same size.
Anyone know the best course of action for me to take is?
Would it be better to go to the dealer and ask them to order me some?

I ordered them from this company:

http://www.desmoparts.com/products/p...on/m5-wellnuts

They're $0.65 each instead of $6.00 each that the dealership wanted. I received them within five days. To me, they work better then the O.E.M. version because you can remove and insert them much easier.

awesome kawdawg! thanks for the link. I ended up just going to the dealer on my lunch break and ordered 2 new grommets for $4.50 a piece. But for future purchases I'll definitely be checking out that site

eBay
20x M5 wellnuts for cheap.

I picked up 20 as you can loose them adjusting the screen.
Versys eats them sometimes and sometimes Versys spits them out to be used again.

The are also uses on Mk2 Versys on the side faring top bolt.

I also use them to keep my Madstad screen and mount bolts together on my screen when I take the screen off so I don't loose the bolts and rubber washers... just undo a bolt and slip a spare well nut on the end as I unmount the screen... these rubber washers bounce far!

Lowes or Home Depot may have them as well. I filled ALL the holes with them what I had my bike apart.

The oem grommets don't seem to hold up very well. Package of generic grommets from a hardware store have lasted better for me.

I'll remember that for the next time. I plan to get a taller windshield so I'll most likely just forgo the rubber grommets when I install the new shield

Oh ya hot glue them to the screen or the mount on the bike and you'll be less likely to loose them

And McMaster Carr online beats the stuffing out of Home Depot quality and you get actual specifications (2 day delivery for about $5 for small parts, from before anyway.)

Search eBay for windshield bolts for Kawasaki versus. I bought mine from Sato racing out of China for $5.28 plus free shipping. Very satisfied with the product plus you can choose the color that you want to match your bike. You get 10 screws and grommets.
