Ebay Touring Footpegs / M Factory M-Factory

Hey guys,
Just wanted to give you a heads up that I just got these foot pegs from a seller on ebay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/261828610395...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I have a 650 and contacted the seller who said he would send the 650 foot pegs (I have know idea if there is any difference). They are NOT an exact fit. I tried first to install them with Speedy's lowering foot peg blocks then thinking it might have just been them tried to install them on the bike without the blocks. The holes line up and the width is correct but you need to add a shim/spacer to have them sit level. Otherwise the tips of the foot pegs are angled toward the ground.

Also note that there is a single screw that attached the foot peg to the mounting bracket. This allows for angle adjustment of the pegs but being a big guy I question the strength of the design. I guess time will tell.

After some grinding and addition of some spacers they are on the bike with the lowering blocks and positioned correctly. The do look sharp but IMHO this is not a plug and play item as the seller would lead you to believe.

If I have any updates I will post.

Has any one else had any M-Factory products on their bike? What was your experience?

Did you attach them to the lowering blocks or directly onto the bike?

The add does say Versys 1000, don't know if there is a difference. I have ZX6R pegs on mine they look and fitted the same as the Versys pegs.
Did you let the seller know? If changes are needed they should know about it.

I contacted the seller immediately when I realized my error and they said they would send the 650 foot pegs instead. I really wanted to like these but I am wondering if I should have just paid more for something else. I did not contact the seller as I had already ground them down so I could not return.
