Mastech guard

Installed the Mastech engine guard bars on my '12.
They are a well made kit with a sturdy and useful shape, looks like good radiator and upper cowling protection.
The left side takes a bit of McGuyvering if your bike has the smog canister, I just tilted it and secured it with the front bolt only.
For 200 bucks shipped off ebay, I'd say it's a good bargain for the level of protection and quality.

Sorry I'm not liking them.

they protect the farings ??? really that important???

what about protecting the lower engine from grinding a hole in the side case and dropping all your oil and not able to get home?

Actually looking into buying the crash covers for those fragile engine covers, as opposed to more black pipe cage on the bike.

Mastech guard

And I love my Dimotiv's. Good protection and a prop to stretch the legs when needed. Less expensive also. But to each his own. Click image for larger version

I also liked the look of those, and the yellow V is the Queen's knickers!
