Versys Street Fighter, Anyone still doing this?

I'm just curious if anyone is still converting these/striping these down? I just took mine out of storage after almost 3 years and took it for a spin, still a good ride.

So I'm just looking for some more inspiration to mod it and make it look better.

I always thought they did that to bastardize wrecked bikes

I am mostly doing it because I have grown to dislike the front headlight/fairing assembly. I know it decreases the value, though I am keeping all the original parts for when I do sell. My needs/wants have changed and as such, I only ride in town these days, no more adventures for me. Kids will do that to you. There was someone a few years ago that sold their Versys Fighter, I thought it looked pretty stock. Not bastardized.

That looks nice. Is that a 650R tank I wonder? and what about the coolant tank?

Yeah that's a 650r tank. Also the coolant tank is under the seat. If I can find the photo I will post it. Just want to mention again that that's not my bike. I did find a perfect 650r tank. Just waiting on the right headlight. The one in the photo is from a sv650. If you use a 650r tank, the seat needs trimmed a little. No big deal though
