How do I fit Triumph Street Triple Mirrors??

I'm getting "Street Triple" mirrors to go on my versys. I know that the versys is 10mm threads and I don't remember what the Triumph is, same as KTM I think.

As I understand it I can use a adapter from KTM or whoever that will just raise my mirrors 1/2" or so vertically. I also see on ebay mirrors extenders that are adapters for putting 10mm mirrors on the Street triple. I assume that somewhere I should be able to find adapter extenders to put the triumph mirrors on the Versys.

Or maybe I can buy regular 10mm mirror extenders and then buy a stainless steel hex-head bolt in whatever thread pitch the triumph is at the local hardware store?? Would that work??

Any ideas?? I'm not even sure I'll need extenders yet, I think the Triumph mirrors are a bit wider but I'd really like to be able to see behind me.

Thanks for the help!!

Why don't you either find out what size the ST3 mirrors are, or wait until you get them.
If it's a 10mm, then you need nothing else. If it's a 8mm, then buy the KTM mirror adapters made for a 2001 or 2002 Duke.
I have a set of 2001 KTM Duke mirrors on my Versys and used the adapters. Works perfectly.

I fitted the Street Triple mirrors back in December last year (3,000 miles so far).

The Triumph P/N's:

Left Hand P/N T2060019
Right Hand P/N T2060018

each mirror was US$ 68.57 and they came with the rubber boot.

They are the same threads as the Versys, I mounted them to my eBay extenders.

Not only would I like to fit those mirrors, I also dream of fitting a Street Triple motor too. Looks like it would be a close fit...would this be in any realm of possibility?

Well I finally got the mirrors and you guys were right, they just bolted right on. They look great and extend a good 2-2 1/2" beyond what the stock ones did.

I didn't have time for a ride but with them being lower and wider I'm hoping they will be okay without extenders.

...about the motor swap... ...they'll sell you a street triple you know? Seems it would be easier to buy one, change handle bars, and add a windscreen than it would to do an engine swap on the Versys. But maybe I'm missing the point. I do love the sound of that triple.
