Front fender extender. Anyone paint theirs to color match?

Like the title says. I was thinking about getting the fender extender painted green to match the bike. Has anyone else done it?

I have not painted either of the ones I have on both bikes. You hardly know they're there.

Yes. One of our members. He painted it blue to match his bike & it looks great, but unfortunately, I couldn't tell you who.

Pantsdavies did his blue, along with the lower cowl covers (look up Candy Plasma Blue Mad). I'm thinking of doing the same. Bought an extra set of cowls in silver so I can keep to originals. May just install the silver pair. I'm going to go by a local paint shop to see what it will cost to paint the extender by itself, and if I do all three pieces. I think the paint code is 723, but don't know the green code.

I was thinking the same thing. If im paying for one small part, i bet it would be more cost effective to get other things painted.

I painted my fender extender and rear hugger at the same time. They both turned out very well and an exact match to the bike's paint. I got the paint from:
http://www.dpars.com/

You will need the paint codes. For my orange Versys it was a two part system (base colour and candy orange) followed up with a clear coat.

What colour is your Versys?

My Versys is green. Or candy green or whatever fancy color name Kawasaki gave it.
