Madstat brackets & MRA Vario Screen

Was installing the new brackets with the vario screen and was having difficulty lining up the bottom bolts thru the screen to the brackets. Anyone else have this problem. Are we supposed to use the spacers like we do when using the OEM brackets, or is it okay for the screen to be snug up to the Madstat bracket once attached. Understand that the the Madstat adjustable brackets are great, but much to be desired regarding their lack of sketches and description of some of the parts.

Do a closeup on one of their shied/wing combos stock. I would think you would want some washer between the shield since they crack easily. Or at least squirt silicone gel around it, and maybe hone the hole slightly larger so it won't vibrate as easy (if you don't have any other choices.) I've gone through a few shields experimenting before. Thank goodness Parabellum only charged $50 after the first one each time

Garage
Wow My Madstad screen and brackets came with a nice printed diagram.

With My Mk2 Versys Madstad screen, I have 2 rubber washers for each mounting hole.
order is: Bolt > washer > screen > washer > wellnut > bracket

Gigitt, I only got the brackets, so... I'll post a pic tomorrow of what the printed material was tht came with them. I already got it mounted and the screen secured, so i'm not going to dissasemble it to show the gap issue. It's possibly just one of those 3 handed projects, and I could not find my extra hand. Just put the V in sleep mode last night to make room in the garage for my car with crap weather that just hit When I get a break in the weather i'll revisit the situation since I also want to test the OEM screen with the brackets. Thanks all.

kohburn, thanks for checking up on me. Yes. All is good for both the small stock oem and the MRA vario. It really works well on stopping the buffeting.
