DUC Hypermotard Mirrors w/ Signals

Thousand apologies if this is a worn out idea. Honestly I haven't looked to see if it's been discussed already [looking a little sheepish].

So I'm liking the look of those mirrors on the Duc Hypermotard and wondering if they're a fit for the 'ol '09 Versys. Any reports out there on this? Anyone done it already?

Here's a link to purchase the Hypermotard mirrors , which will set you back $300.

And what about these Acerbis Dual Sport Handguards that you can get with optional LED light kit for use as a turn signal. These are a universal - looks like they only mount like a bar end with no connection to the handlebar itself. This set up is half the cost of the Duc mirrors, at around $150.

Are there some other good options out there for handguards or mirrors that have turn signals built-in?

What do you think? Thoughts, rants, opinions... knowledge???

Hi RonNoc,

Try http://www.kawasakiversys.com/forums...hlight=mirrors

Remember seeing a V in the UK forum using the Duc mirrors.
ZETA also has something like the Acrebis you mentioned but protector is connected to the handlebar.

Good Luck.

Thanks Stlee29. That's exactly what I needed to know. RedRiguez found a great pair of signal mirrors that look as good as the Duc ones and are sooooo much less!!! - $35 compared to $300 Looks like he got some mirror extenders, too. He mentioned finding them on eBay; I think I've found them here. This is definitely going to happen.

Are you going to wire them into the turn signals?
This seems like a great mod, better than the z1000 mirrors.
I'll keep my beady eyes on this.

Yup - wire 'em into the turn signals. I was thinking of a straight replacement; remove the originals entirely, but I'm not sure of that idea now. It might by illegal, and I've got enough tickets to deal with.

I just bought a pair of the ebay mirrors with signals. 4-5 days shipping time. I'll post once they are installed.
