unless you are converting your versys to a naked bike, there are no other options that i have seen.

This also looks more (Road Worthy) IMHO than the Steel Mesh protectors,
But what do I know.

You can buy some fairly thick plasticy stuff (vinyl?) for car headlites. Just cut it to fit, pull off the backing and stick it on. I put it onto my KLR because the light is glass. Don't really see a need on the "V"!

That is awesome. http://www.amhp.com.au/amhpshop/prod...0658d3568085a2

Only blue and yellow are for road use, the other colors are for show, may not be legal.

Not sure of its legal in US, but just in case you go for the amber one, its easy to remove anytime you want as the mounting are dual locks. I use a clear white lens and no problem so far-6000km.

I was hoping someone would come up with a screen similar to the one for the Vstrom
Here's a link if there's a welder out there.
http://vstroma.com/Head%20Light%20Guard.htm

I've read somewhere people have used Speaker screens for similar projects. Let's see who's the talented V rider. I know it's not me....

2005 50cc scooter, 2007 GS500f, 2008 DL650 Vstrom,
I'm here for my wife's V . She lets me Farkle her Ride. No Diamonds for her, but shiney stuff for the bike is Okay

Just got mine in the mail and installed. I like the build quality aside from a small fitment issue I'm having but I'll figure it out. I dig the look.
