Last summer I decided I wanted a high fender and Cuff was nice enough to give me some pointers. I used his zip tie idea for the fender.
I used a Sewer pipe( I believe 4" diameter) I cut it with a chop saw to get the angle, and used a blow torch to soften up the plastic, to get the bend I wanted to match the tubes.
For mounting I used L-brackets similar to Cuff.
Cuff was VERY helpful to me when making my fender.
