Rear Rack Options

Hello
I have a 2009 Versys and want to add a rear rack. I want to use soft luggage and am curious as to what other riders have experienced as far as weight capacity.

Not sure about weight capacity, but I could not find a rear rack wide enough for soft luggage, so I had to make my own.

I tried to get that rack in Canada, but could not. KTM Duals racks are a good option if you could mount some sort of plate on top.

For soft bags, your limited. SW makes a quick release $60 plate for the back of their racks. Might be an option for you.

Easy to make a plate out of aluminum, as I did.

I agree, making your own is very easy to do. I just got a used rear set up from a forum member here and I can't wait to get it on. Mostly need it as a back rest for my daughter, but now I can cruise around with storage room with out my sidebags all the time.....can't wait.

Well, of course I know that, but thread topic is rear rack options.....This is simply another option. Some may not just want the soft bag options....Although I'm sure most on here already know of all the options....I don't know
