Odometer, clock & reset switches - handlebar mount?

Has any one replaced their odometer, clock & reset switches with a weather-proof handle mount? If so, where did you get the momentary switches? Link? Thanks!

After 6 1/2 years and 25,000 miles my original dash mounted switches hardly ever work now.

It has been done
There is a member who soldered remote switches to the circuit board & posted photos, unfortunately my lack of forum skills hinders my effort to find the thread.

You're lucky, mine didn't last 2 years / 9000 km ...

Handlebar Switchgear Mode & Reset

Radio Shack Mini SPST Momentary Switches: #275-1547 4 pack $3.99 or for a larger button #275-1556 2 pack $3.49 Room for Mode switch just inboard of " passing " switch on left switch gear and center of right gear. I soldered "piggy-back to terminals of standard Mode & Reset switch with small guage speaker wire & slit harness coverings about 1/4" at nearest point to gauge cluster. Used safety wire to make a "snake " to pull said speaker into both housings. Be sure to leave enough slack to allow for handlebar movement. This setup has been problem free for me for 4 years.

I have the extended warranty so mine won't break until it is over.

My '08s are fine (51,000 miles), but my '09s (49,xxx kms) are OCCASIONALLY a tad stubborn, but it sat outside for two seasons at the dealer till I bought it....
