Gas cap

Soooo due to a bent key I damaged the internals on my gas cap, only opens with the bent key (barely). Any easy replacements?

I've looked at them. I'd like for something keyed, for peace of mind.

I agree Moose - any dipship could open your tank slip something in or worse and be on their way. The world is full of pranksters looking for people who leave their guard down. The damn thing came with a locking gas cap, why downgrade.

I don't consider it a downgrade. It came with a CRAPTASTIC seat too, so should I keep it around as well? NOPE. None of my vehicles have locking gas caps either I guess I'm just living on the edge........ I keep my tankbag on 24/7, live in Alaska, park it in the garage, and I work at a prison. SO the odds of my bike being messed with are pretty slim. But that's just me. To each his own.

I'll bet that little decal on your tank that reads, "I work at a prison, I'm armed, and I know how to use it." might help a little too.

They have been purchased! Broke the right mirror in.... maybe Jasper, BC, Canada... or Smithers, sorta a blur! Gas cap and mirrors are done! Time for front fender extender and an oil change! Then brake pads...
