Fitted LED brake lights in rack tubes. (with pic's)

I have added a couple of extra brake lights to the rack tubes
I removed the grommets from the ends of the rack tubes which have a 20mm inside diameter
(Kawasaki rack but others may be same size ?) I then inserted a red LED button light in each (after lengthening the cables as they were only about
150mm long) I ran the cables inside the tubes and out of the drainage holes at the front and then under the seat and joined into the back light.
The installation looks good as you cannot see any wires.
Each has 3 bright led's, seems good quality and perfect fit.
All this may seen over the top but recently had a friend who was hit from behind while parked at the lights in her car and had to be cut out so IMO anything that may help to keep the idiots off your back has to be a good thing.

Well, I have an extra brake light on the rear of my top case rack and brake lights in my top case, but some idiot still ran into the back of me at a light.

Steve

I bought a motorcycle because my wife said that I couldn't! Now I have two and she still says I can't have another one!

It might! I like how your lights turned out and I hope yours work better than mine did.

I like it. It kind of has that "take me to your leader" look! Kinda staying with that whole transformer thing that the bike has going for it.
