here i am with my KawaCati Ministrada doing some cornering on the Tail of the Dragon. For some reason everyone thought that it is a Ducati. I guess people down there dont see many Ducatis so all the red bikes to them are Ducati. However, we named it KawaCati.
Anyways, Deal's Gap was a lot of fun. Some of the turns were so tight I saw my tail light.
Glad you enjoyed your trip down here. I'm lucky in that it's less than 40 miles to Deal's Gap from my house. US 129 has sort of become my "training road" as I've only got 700 miles of riding (all on my V!) under my belt. I had Friday off and made 4 complete (up and back) runs on the Dragon.
Interestingly, every time I pulled up at the store or the scenic overlook, people came over to ask about the V. Nobody seems to know what it is but they all seemed to like it!
