Cool Drilled Holes Feet Guards...Pics

Ok, so I've been wanting to do a little custom work, just to make my V more personal and I started today after installing the new Full Arrow Exhaust. Grabbed my trusty drill and some metal bits and set to work drilling the dimples out of my feet guards.

Incredibly easy and took just a few minutes for each side. Really happy with how it turned out...and I saved some weight!

looks good. Got them on the bench trying to make some higher plates, but without machine tools, going to have to admit defeat, so got to vent frustration and mod them somehow!

thanks! ur trying to actually raise just the plates or raise the whole foot peg/plate altogether? Is your V scraping too easily in the turns?

thanks! i didn't know how the vids would turn out because i had the digicam sorta lassoed around my neck like a noose. lol, it kept swinging back and forth while riding. i actually tried to duck down further on the 2nd vid to help out with the wind buffeting.

Thank you sir! I actually just got in from drilling a similar set of holes along the foot brake lever...I'll throw up some pics tomorrow. Came out nice and dressed it up a little.

cool customization!
I like the individuality we V owners display.

Making new plates, as on the track its the limiting factor.

Got the drill stright out last night though! Looks good for 5 mins work. Cheers
