Does algard bracket adjust height by changing angle?

I am a 650 weestrom convert and love my versys but the wind buffering over my Givi touring windscreen is not acceptable. I am about to order the algard engine guard and am considering the windscreen bracket. Big question is does the screen bracket adjust the height by changing the angle. Algard emailed me and said it adjust both. So is the only way to raise the height on the algard bracket to adjust the angle?

As you can see the upper bracket has slots for the dogbones. This allows you to change both angle and height. The upper bracket als has several holes which should also allow you to change the screen height stepwise in the same manner you change height using the stock brackets.

To me it looks like it will be more work to adjust the Algard brackets than the Madstadt brackets, but once everything is tight it looks like everything should be pretty rigid. That rigidity is why I want the Algard brackets. There have been complaints about the Madstadt brackets being too wobbly. (That's what I've read here. I have never seen either type of bracket in person, only in pictures.)

thanks for the input chief. I went on ahead an ordered a set. i like the stock angle but am afraid the height increase will be accomplished by too vertical a change in the angle.
