Versys Luggage

So I just installed the Givi E55 top case, and I think it looks great, not sure I'm super happy with the flimsy-ness with the case... seems to take some effort to close it, things like that, however I REALLY like the size... so we will see how that works out...

So, now the side case issue. Not sure if I sure go the PLX route or look at Trax... has anyone dared to mix luggage vendors? A givi top case with trax side cases? thoughts? pictures? help?

Integrating differing brands of top and side racks could be problematic if they use mutual mounting point(s) and they don't want to play nice.

Also, PLX racks are nice, but your luggage options are more limited than if you went with standard Givi "PL" racks. Also, "PL" racks are made for more bikes than the "PLX's". This makes the "PL's" a better choice when wanting to use existing luggage for future/2nd bikes.

yeah, I agree, I wouldn't mix racks... I have my E55 on a SW-motech rack, I would use their sideracks as well to make sure they were compatible... was thinking more of the cases themselves and if it would look silly to have the E55 topcase with Trax square side cases is all....

Why, what's the big deal??? For my Tiger 1050 I have a Givi top rack, with a Twisted Throttle Coo Case top box and adapter. For my side racks I have SW-motech quick release racks for my Trax side cases. 3 different manufacturers and no problems.
