OEM Givi cases question

I am heavily considering buying the oem v35 side cases.

With the Givi racks, how hard is it to remove the bags? I know the SW Motech ones have a quick release.

If I wanted to buy a V46 top case, I just need the Givi Topcase Rack correct?

I want to me triple sure about everything before I drop close to a grand on this stuff

Hi,
I have the Givi V46 top case and the V35 paniers/side cases. They have quick release buttons so taking them off takes a matter of seconds and also putting them back on is no problem at all They are well worth the money!

The bags come off easily with either brackets.....we have the factory Kawasaki brackets on one bike (they are Givi brackets), and S W Motech on the other.

On both bracket types the bags are off with a push of a button. The SW Motech brackets come off the bike easily, leaving only some mounting points. If you think you want to quickly convert your V into a naked bike, the SW Motechs may be worth thinking about. If you're going to leave the bags on the bike most of the time, I'd say go with the better deal.

have never seen the SW pannier racks, so can't comment on them.
agree with shoreflyer that the panniers release easily from the givi rack, but the rack is a permanent fitting... its always on the bike and some consider the rack looks ugly.

the other issue in my books is the top box (trunk) rack is a beggar to fit to fit WITH the givi pannier rack. once fitted they work well, but its not an easy job
