The Fasteddie Buell beak experiment

What do you think? I had to raise the rear guard with brackets due to VERY minimal clearance on the TKC 80. I may build a bit shorter brackets. But as of right now the bottom of the rear guards stops right where the top of the skidplate is. SO everything is protected.

The beak itself fit with no problems. brake line routing even works

I got them all used from fasteddie. He would be the one to ask. Everything IS Buell except the fork brackets and home made bracket to attach the fender to the brackets.

I remember that beak from my Buell. Looks cool but I found in wet conditions water would be flung out to the front and blow right back in my face. I should say water, and what ever the farmers were hauling at the time, pig & cows and their "By Products" come to mind along with a ton of dirt.

Or was that look THEN leap?

Don't like it at all. Makes the bike look like a toy.

Lookin' good, Jeff. Glad you like it, but I bought it as a project several years ago from another member, so I don't know any part #s or $s....

A guy on a Buell Ulysses just stopped by and had the EXACT same set up on his bike. It's an 08, hope it helps Robert.

I think it turned out well and actually makes more sense than the moto$ that have a complete front fender and beak.
