Almost finished

Got back from Texas and had some MORE things to install before the maiden voyage.
Givi engine guards AND T-Rex Racing Frame sliders conveniently fit together with only slight modification to LH engine guard. Double protection never hurts, right?

TechSpec heel guards and eBay special DR650 footpegs.

The footpegs needed drilling out to fit the mounting bolts. I also put a steel spacer in between the mounting tabs of the pegs for strength, since they fit along side the brackets of the Motowork lowering blocks.
The TechSpec material came in a sheet and I cut out the pattern I wanted. It took a bit to get it right but well worth it with my big clodhoppers rubbing against them.

Light smoke Lamin-X headlight protector

Lastly I fitted these swingarm spools/sliders but they interfere with the Bikemaster Paddock stand I have so they are up for sale if anyone is interested.

As for further additions. I have a newly located (in the UK) Algard skid plate on the way to me, and hopefully one of KTMduals rear racks in a pending sale After that she should be ready to tackle the Alaskan terrain with relative ease and protection......Or at least I hope so.

Jeff - being as you live in the US version of "the GREAT White North", and I can see that your charcoal canister is still there... Once you remove it, PROPERLY, you can get another HALF a gallon of gas into your tank!

Jeff,

Where did you get the Tech Spec heel guards? I did a bit of poking about on the interweb but couldn't find anyone who offered them for sale. Help another forum member?

http://techspec-usa.com/magento/inde...gh-fusion.html
this might be what he used --I don't know if you can buy a precut pad. that looks like the --high fusion-- they also have a ---c3--- and a snakeskin---not trying to butt in here but you might want to check their clearance for sheets and precut pieces for other bikes and cut them from that I just bought a couple 4 piece sets from their clearance for $27.20 a set. I offered $26 and they counteroffered $27.20. nice big pieces of the snakeskin that I will cut to fit on the versys.

also look in the --hot sale-- area --I think they have some sheets listed---might be the c3 or snakeskin

dspark is correct I ordered a sheet and cut to fit. I have the templates that I made if you want. And they will accept a decent offer too. Hope this helps

that area just to the left of the pad on the side of the tank--on the fairing- is where I am going to cut a piece to fit, on both sides. it might look stupid, but the reason is to cover up some of that red paint. maybe paint the front fender black too. I like the red color o.k. but theres just too much of it to suit me
