I will order the part from the Honda PCX150 and will try if I can fit it on my Blue 09. It is the same part as what ADV.Russian got for his 2nd Gen Versys. It says $10.18 for that particular part, here's the link. http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...%2Ffront-cover The Powerbronze looks nice though.

Ehhh. I'd rather just buy a MX fender and zip tie it to the lower triple. $240 my butt!

do not. cause i just had it installed. it took a lot of mods and cutting to fit a 2012 V and i am sure it will not fit the previous model since i owned it

+1! Looks like it came with the bike. Are you sure that will not work for a Gen1?

That looks good! Thanks. How much fab work had to be done to mount it?

120 Sterling is taking the piss, and 89 AUD is even worse
That PCX part is almost free here

Remember that I have never had my hands on a Gen 1 as we did not get them in Thailand. My plan is to make one when I am back in Canada this summer

From the pics it looks like the Gen 1-2 difference is on the bottom side of the anteater nose. Is the top side the same?
If so then the 150.00 USD claw version we have here would work, and I am sure that I could do it better and cheaper

Is there someone wanting to help out a EU-guy ? ... In Europe they ask about 60€ (80USD) for the PCX125 fairing part ... if someone would be willing to buy one and ship it to me I would be more then willing to pay for yours as well (buy one for me and get one free for yourself ) ... at least if the shipping cost would not be over the edge of course

These are made here in Thailand so it should be cheap enough
I will send one to you and will go to Honda today and check the cost

PM me with your details

Can anyone tell me if the top profile of the Gen 1 anteater nose is the same as the Gen 2

If so then I can easily make a "claw" type top mounted beak for the Gen 1 at a reasonable cost
Not as cheap as the PCX but IHMO it will look a lot better

I know know that the Gen 1 and 2 top profiles are not the same so the claw type beak will not fit - too bad

Hopefully I can get my hands on a Gen 1 this summer and get a beak made
